Welcome to Elk
River! The Elk River Legacy lives on in the
Snowshoe resort area. Ever since 1982 our family
owned and operated business has been
serving the largest resort area in the
southeast. Stop in and get to know Snowshoe’s
friendliest and most knowledgeable winter sports
staff. Our convenient locations help you spend
more time on Snow not waiting in lines consuming
time. The Soaring Eagle quad chair is right
behind our shop which makes it easy to stop in
while you’re out on the hill.
Snowboarding
Elk River has been serving snowboarders longer than anyone in West Virginia. With two locations to serve your needs, we carry boards from Arbor, Burton, Forum, Gnu, Rome and Roxy. All of our performance snowboard rentals offer strap-in bindings and are maintained by our professional staff. A select number of demo boards are also available.
Whether you plan on hitting the slopes or the
terrain park, Elk River has all of your
snowboarding Snowshoe Mountain Rentals and needs covered.
Our two convenient locations get you out on the
snow quick. Snowboard & Ski Rentals are
available at both Soaring Eagle lodge and our
hwy 219 locations.
Skiing
 Can’t
wait to hit the slopes? We understand. That’s
why our friendly shops get you properly fitted
on quality equipment quickly. After you complete
the rental form, our staff will get you properly
fitted for your boots and then set your skis
accordingly. Bringing your own boots? No
problem, just bring one inside with you so our
professional staff can accurately set your skis.
Elk River stores also offer the clothing and
accessories our customers want so you can get
out on the slopes instead of shopping for
equipment. Our alpine ski Snowshoe Mountain
Rentals are available at Soaring Eagle
lodge location and our valley location on Hwy
219.
